Peacock Dance (Mayilattom)
During our coverage of Arattu festival we attended one of the major attractions which was Peacock Dance (Mayilattom). Both dancers were male dressing up in a very colorful peacock costume! They danced with their wooden stick legs at the temple’s compound and people gave them money to have their blessings.
