2014 has been really a productive year to me. I’ve been very active and so was my airline miles counter.
Here is a recap of what I’ve been up to lately.

I was selected as one of 8 Arab photographers to be part of a reality TV photography competition called “I’m a Nat Geo Photographer” a production for National Geographic Abu Dhabi.
It was fun couple of weeks shooting the show and being in front of the camera for the first time in my life!
GPP 2014 in Dubai.
I attended the whole week of GPP 2014 photography extravaganza. I took 2 workshops, The passionate photographer with Steve Simon and Exploring small lights with the one and only Joe McNally. I also attended GPP photo friday and was inspired by the great words of David Alan Harvey. The highlight of my GPP week was attending David Hobby’s seminar beyond technique finding a meaningful path as a photographer. Also the closing ceremony aka the shootout was just awesome!
It was a last minute decision to join the Arab cultural exchange program in Palestine organized by Hayat Center for civil society development. It was a week that has changed my life and opened my eyes to many things.
My dream was fulfilled and I prayed at AlAqsa mosque alhamdullelah.
Airing of I’m a Nat Geo Photographer at Nat Geo Abu Dhabi. I made it to the semi finals (4th place).
Participated in CanvasBH photography exhibition “Memories Recreated” at AlRiwaq art gallery Bahrain. I participated with 2 photos taken at Balata camp Palestine.
Though it was a business trip but I tried to make the most out of it! I was attending an investment conference in Pasadena L.A. for a week. I extended my stay for another week and visited San Francisco.
Ramadan is here ! It is too hot to shoot at the streets but I did make some shy attempts. I joined VIVA jusoor initiative for their Iftar Saem campaign. We visited a couple of labour camps.
