A relaxing weekend road trip to Dana Beach Resort

Ever since allowing women to drive in Saudi I have crossed the bridge to Khobar (Eastern Province) with my car multiple times on my own or with friends. This time I decided to spend the weekend at Dana Beach Resort at Half Moon Bay Khobar. It is just an hour’s drive away from Bahrain and a perfect getaway destination for those who live in KSA, Kuwait or Bahrain.

The villas

Similarly to beach resorts at the Maldives. The resort is extraordinarily spacious with 111 elegant villas. Furthermore, I loved the attention to detail and privacy at each villa. To see the villas click here.

My Stay

I stayed at Royal Villa which had a private infinity pool and access to the beach. The vibe is so relaxing you don’t want to leave your villa. You can choose sunrise or sunset-facing villas.
